Vacation

Going to Chicago Detroit and Pittsburgh to watch baseball in the next few days. So pumped for it. I can already hear stam. “who would go on vacation to watch baseball?” Me that’s who, F ing can’t wait.

I can recommend MANY restaurants in all of those towns if'n you want some good places to eat. LMK.

Are you going to Wrigley or GR or both? Stay safe down around GR and keep your head on a swivel. Use Uber if possible.

When you're in Chicago, go to Mr. Beef on North Harlem and get yourself an Italian Beef sammich. Soaking wet with both sweet peppers and hot giardiniera.

You'll find yourself hankering for another one once you get back on this coast.

A food truck that made real Chicago Beefs would make a killing downtown. One of you get on this now and call Dan and I when it opens ok.

When Toff was in Chicago, I told him to swing by Mr. Beef and I'd pick him up at Sea-Tac and take him up to him place.

Even a 4+ hour old Mr. Beef Italian Beef sammich is worth fighting someone over.

If you live here and have to have one - go to Lou Malnati's online store - loutogo.com - and order their Portillo beef sammich kit. 8 samiches, about 80 bones delivered as I recall, and worth every fuckin cent.

My mouth is watering.....time for some toast.

I have not only done this twice on Dan's recommendation, but he met me at Seatac on a return flight to eat a four hour old sammich that I carried on the plane with me.

We smuggled some Creole food from New Orleans once,I'm surprised the dude let us get on the plane but he was cool. Wrigley is on my bucket list. Badass. Being a die hard Giants fan I get it. I'm going to see us play the Rockies in Denver and I'm gonna wear my world series Buster Posey jersey and all my SF [Bleeeeep!] and watch those poor scrubs hate on me for being ,well,a fan of a team that people actually care about.

You're going to love Denver and Coors Field. The stadium layout is fantastic. I personally like sitting in left field, but there isn't a bad seat in the park. Get some Rocky Mountain Oysters if you aren't a scared little she-bitch. Delish!

If you like tasty dead animals on a plate, you MUST eat at the Buckhorn Exchange in downtown. Oldest steakhouse in Colorado (1893) and they serve all kinds of critters. It's not cheap, but its entirely worth it. Link: http://buckhorn.com/

And if your a fan of South Park, you also gotta visit Casa Bonita to watch the dive show, which is a total trip and mind fvck. Just DO NOT eat there. The food makes Taco Bell look like a 5 star Michelin restaurant.

Oh man thanks so much for the help guys. Italian beef is sooo good it was a great vacation. Hot and. Humid though. High light is Wrigley, truly for baseball fans a hallowed place.
