Depends on what Trump Tweets and his wonderful crew of fucktards will do or say. The Feds and raising rates (and lower confidence) isn't helping things either.
The Market is not responding well to anything Trump related these days.
The real question is how low will this correction take the market?
I bet we see it dip below 20K. Maybe even 15K.
Going to be a long time until the market is at or back at 26K.
Time to strap in and wait. Good thing I'm not retiring and cashing in anytime soon.
I recommend you keep buying gold. Lots and lots of gold. You will need it to throw at your neighbors.
Has AI taken over the market? Anybody have a computer I can hire to manage my investments?
You don't need a manager, just follow all of Rich's advice, to a tee...first thing to do is get rid of your 401K and other retirement accounts, and second, use the money to buy a pile of rocks.

Feel free to save your advice giving to river right or river left .
I would say the safest bet is to really pay attention to what Rich is saying, click on all of his QAnon, InfoWars, and assorted "alternative" news source links...and once you have really sussed out what he's getting at...

Do exactly the opposite.
Good luck.

Pretty much. Some folks main purpose in life is to serve as a cautionary tale for others.
If it is not beyond obvious that trading algorithms & machine learning have taken completely over the markets, well it should be. This is all devised to buy and sell, buy and sell 1000's of times a day and these dude's are getting filthy rich doing it.
We jest with Rich when the market shoots up or goes wild, but in actuality, the markets HATE uncertainty. Hence the roller coaster we've been on the past few weeks. Enjoy the ride and try not to puke on the person next to you.
for those of you that actually think the market is not in for a change in 2019 go to a site called marketwatch that is where I read my facts and fiction information keeps me well informed and yes the day traders do fak things up for us long haulers at times but those boys for every win is 10 losers not my game once remember my broker telling me to pullout back in 07 I would have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars glad I did not heed his advice enjoying the ride trust your instincts not what people tell you 2nd quarter this next year should be pretty interesting come tax time!!!!
I think the next 4-6 months are going to be a blood bath. I wouldn't be shocked if the dow went to 14-16K. I heard Google missed part of their earnings after hours in which the stock was halted. I haven't seen the details yet.but it sounded pretty bad.

I'm going to need to hear it from a more legitimate source.
I noticed last night my investment team cashed out our entire investment fund a little before 7PM (I'm only a "small" investor in a decent sized overall fund), 2-3 months early. They generally do it around the end of the 1st quarter and then re-invest in 50-60 stocks for another year or so.
This tell me there's WAY more uncertainty in the near future (Ray Charles could see this, right?)? I'm curious of their long term strategy. I'll try to give the boys a call in the afternoon when I have a break from work. I've got more cash sitting on the sidelines, but I think it's going to still sit on the bench...

One of the guys called me today at 11:30 today and said we're definitely on the sidelines for a month, maybe 3...just depends. Wish they'd done that 2 months ago (hell 3 weeks ago), but hindsight is 20/20. Ended the year down .9% in that fund, up 3.3% in another but we "beat the Dow" as it lost 5.6% (BFD!). I'm with Parker...time to go fishing and fuk looking at the market!!!
Apple's down only due to poor, in-country China sales and not much else (sorry to chit on a good ol' DS political fight).
Huawei and ZTE are completely taking over inside of China and both offer huge, deep discounts to move over to their phones (Tencent). China was Apple's largest growth market for the past several years and it used to be that the name alone carried a premium status for China citizens. As we know, they are all about status - it's all they care about.
Unfortunately, the iPhone and Apple isn't considered all "that cool" any longer over there. There's better options with more technology at a lower price and it's eating Apple's lunch. Remember, not many over here can afford a $1k phone and even less can afford that over there. They only make 10 - 15% of what Americans do and its outrageously expensive to live there.
This is Apple's arrogance and fault. Nobody else's.
Yeah, they rallied on news of the jobs report, but there was also this...
"Stocks rallied on Friday after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the central bank will be patient in raising rates, quelling fears of tighter monetary policy in the near future."
China slow down. It's probably worse than what they're saying. You can't trust anything red China says or does.

Salty. You seem mad Frank. You really have this weird fixation on my past. What little you may know of it. Due to your reaction to my post about fukbois leads me to wonder, hey....why is Frank so upset? Hmmm....

One thing I can say I know is how to catch fish on my own and not some fukin partyboat you old jabroni.
As a 3rd grader in 1984, Friday nights were special to me. I just knew I was going to see some bewbs, hookers, drugs and fast cars if my parents let me stay up late for Miami Vice. I think they began to reconsider their poor parenting choices when I started to speak like a Cuban drug lord and treat my sisters like the street walking junky whores they were. Rent's due bitches! I even had a match box Testarossa and some seafoam green and pink shirts. Yeah - the 80's were fvcked up. Good times.
No, I'm asking you, you fuckin child. You sound like an angry old 13 year old girl.

Sad angry baby girl? Great! They are multiplying.

Has Trump and the cognitive dissonance required to happily guzzle his cum tipped you over that far? You used to live in some middle ground, now you, Evo, Sol Dunce, and Rich may as well all live with Evo's mom in the trailer park, you are almost indistinguishable, main difference being that you post more than the rest of them combined.

You should move to Freeattle. They have bona fide, sure fire programs already in place.
The parking situation has now gotten very agreesive and competative around where I work since a parking lot was made into a homeless camp where there was already little parking. People are surprisingly upset as some now have an extra 4 blocks to walk to and from the office; a longer walk past more dangerous people than before. Ample parking, for working, tax paying citizens, is not a priority in liberal-la-la-land. I realize that some would say that we are lucky to have jobs or whatever. Some of my coworkers have been assulted or harassed by the homeless over the years (I am lucky because I am a big man; the cute little blondes bare the brunt of it). They pulled a dead body out of the bushes last week. There are open drug deals happening. And so they make the area have a homeless camp, welcoming homeless, and piss off the workers who already are dealing with the problem daily, make their commute and parking more complicated. There is so much dumb out there. How about we help workera in this country continue to work and pay taxes and not make their lives any more complex and dangerous than they already are.
I had to drive into downtown Seattle last night. Good grief. It took 15 minutes to drive around a block of one-way streets to get to the wrong parking lot. And I had to drive around 3 or 4 blocks, so it took 45 minutes from the freeway off ramp to the parking lot. And even more people want to move to Seattle? Nuts.
Do you make more money using bondo, or replacing the dented part?
More importantly, seeing as how they're signing most of the checks, what do the insurance carriers prefer?
He used to make some $$ betting on football games until he bet this sh!t bird that doesn't pay when he loses.
Sh!t bird. I like that and I challenge myself to use it in a sentence today. I just happen to know the specific sh!t bird in question and he's going to be reminded that he is, in fact, a total sh!t bird forthwith!

One would think that would be the case, but the drunken Asian business men down at the Gay Bay Cabaret throw metric chit tons of singles his way.

Oh believe me we are unfortunately very used to your drivel. Because you post here 31 times an hour. Let me ask you something, and I am being serious here. What was the last fish you caught? And when?
I once scared the crap out of Alanis. I was sitting in the second row right in front of her when some dude 20 rows back yelled, "I love you Alanis!!" They I yelled real loud, "No, I do!" She nearly jumped out of her jeans she was so startled.
I gotta use my indoor voice next time. Well, there will be no next time since she lost it after Jagged Little Pill.
That was my brush with someone famous. Not quite as AMAZING as if Griffey was watching a bunch of grab asses fumbling a baseball, but close.
That no talent hack was destined to end her crappy singing career .
