My parents drove up to the top yesterday for lunch and as they were coming down came up on a very large blacktail. If not for the dog going bonkers they could have taken a better picture from the road. Looks to be a 5x4 or 5x5. In any event one of the bigger bucks I've seen in the Port Angeles area. Maybe he'll wander down the hill a little further wink

I think I've seen more quality Blacktail bucks (both dead and alive) posted here this year than all previous years combined....good job guys. thumbs IMO, trophy Blacktails are WAY harder to obtain in this state than Whiteys or Muleys of the same caliber, and probably the reason I stopped hunting for them years ago....
