Of all my shoguns used over the years, the Al-48 in 28 gage by Franchi, another barrel mover, remains my favorite grouse gun by far. Super lite and quick to shoot you never have a clue that the barrel moves. Interesting-ly that back and forth movement seems not to affect the guns patterning abilities in any negative way.

They do have one minor drawback however, in that they require a bit of gun work to be performed when switching from a hot-heavy hunting load to lite target loads for the shotgun to cycle proper. Minor drawback however for a great little gun...
