- Welcome to Piscatorial Pursuits - Whether you're looking to book an Alaska salmon & halibut fishing package or a Washington fishing trip out of Forks on the Olympic Peninsula, helpful info on how to fish on your own, recipes, Kenai Peninsula tide tables for halibut fishing or clamming, or perhaps some of the most popular fishing bulletin boards / forums ... you've found the right place! Our site menu will load to the left. Just mouse-over the buttons for links to the information or fishing trip that you're looking for. If you have any difficulties viewing the menu, text links appear at the bottom of every page! - Site News - July 10, 2010 ... 2010 will not go down as the greatest season on record for kings across most of Alaska. Fortunately, the Kasilof has remained somewhat steady for us and it's getting to that time of year to see some official trophy-class status fish in the mix. Rough water ditched our Fourth of July family day plans to chase some halibut, so Bob loaded up the gang in the drifter and Grandma Ce does another number on a big Kasilof king. Our niece, Mya, and our little one, Rowan got to watch the show! Just three weeks remain in king season and then a month of silvers. While dates through the end of king season are very scarce (none with Bob), we have some scattered slots available in August for silvers. If your dates are flexible, we are currently offering some great discounts on some remaining seats / packages.
A big fish for a young gal! Congrats to Chloe on her trophy 51# Kasilof king on July 9 ... her first king ever! Our Olympic Peninsula fall salmon fishery will begin in early October. Hopes are for a repeat of last year's spectacular return! We still have a handful of October and November dates available for this mixed king and silver salmon fishery. Please contact us for remaining dates! |
