Biography:

Tom Quinn is a Professor of Fishery and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Washington with a general interest in fish behavior and ecology, particularly migratory behavior, habitat requirements, and spawning behavior. His research blends a variety of field techniques including tagging, telemetry and direct observations, with appropriate laboratory experiments. Most but not all of my research deals with salmon and trout. He recently published a book titled "The behavior and ecology of Pacific Salmon and Trout.
