How in the hell did they get it in there whole?

Out of the dozen elk I have killed, I have only been able to get 1 out whole, and getting it in to the back of my truck took a winch and a 100 yards of haywire.

Best I've seen is 5 Roosevelt Bulls in a F-250,3pts and better, but no Brutes.

Pretty good picture floating around here at work,of a Moose on a 4-wheeler.

Thats just wrong!

I need to find some different hunting areas. This quartering and paking sh-t has got to stop.

over 170..?

so much for the sitka blacktail being...small?

I've never killed one that dressed over 110 down here, but...pinner 2 points don't generally dress heavy, have heard of some in the 170 hangin bracket, but...like I said before the big ones don't come easy.

170 is respectable. I've never had one dress much over 230.

Cool pics.

NP - I don't see many people that pack em out like that. But I have a few pics of us doing it as well.

But on public land around here ya better cover it up 'cause ya never know what kind of nut job is out there.

I used to pack my bucks out like that in my younger days.
A good Blacktail here is 140-150lbs.
Backpacking is much more comfortable.
No head, No hide, No feet , fewer bones etc.
I don't miss the blood running down the crack of my ass either.
Nice pics Guys...

Nice bucks there cupo....over on BTC youll see some Washington bucks that are easily pushing 225+. I know a guy up in the skagit who took a 3pt frame (kickers) this last year scored 132 n change...he said it would go 3 hundy on the hoof.....I think his estimate is pretty close. Its a true blackie too. This "little" alpine sitka had a body that would rival most in washington.

This buck I shot last year...while the horns arent great....he had a big body.
