It's fairly old news..... I don't know what the results of the issue were...

It would blow me away if someone lost their guides license over a free shower........ I've been known to pass a few on to buddies....

Last I heard they got him at the sportsman show down here. But the is the same story I heard from a good source. Shouldn't retaliate with your name posted on the side of your boat.

The marine board lists all active guides in the state. His name is not on it. Maybe he just quit guiding.

You kidding me Kevin... That would put a smile on a face or two.. Granted there's nothing wrong with the guy. He struggled in a few fisheries that I witnessed............

I just reviewed both the Guide and Charter list and there are alot of people missing that have claimed to have one or both of these licenses.

I think it is best if people do not spread around nasty rumors about other dudes. I was on the opposite end of this one time and all the [censored] that was stirred was just that , [censored].......

I personally don't know him, but if isn't your business it is probably best to stay clear.

I'll seond that............. Dan Christopher seemed to be a nice and legit guy on the first and only time I met him about 5 years ago.... He needed some assistance in whacking the Bonneville Springers so a friend of mine "fishbait off ifish" invited me with them and we boated 20 or so springers by noon bouncing eggs.......... Seemed to be a legit dude.....

No my license has not been revoked or does the marine board or either Oregon or Washington have any actions in place to try and revoke it. Feel free to call them.

Maybe I missed something here, but I don't find Dan's name or his guide business anywhere on the active list of guides? maybe he didin't get it revoked. Maybe the marine board made a mistake in not listing his name. I'll give them a call today and see where the error is. There are a ton of non licensed guides out there, one phone call should clear all these rumors up.

Based on a rumor you call out someone by their real name on the internet, while standing behind your screen name? Accurate or not, You owe someone an apology big time.

When I first joined this board, a person who owns another board came here and made false accusations against someone who was a licensed guide, accusing him of ripping people off. It took a while to uncover the facts and I was suspicious of that guide for years.

He is now a good friend and one of the most ethical men I know and I wish to hell I never had to read the lies posted about him.

I'm friends with other guides who've had the same damned experience here. This is just WRONG...

I raised my pump and sprayed a fellow guide off the dock and into the lake one moring when I worked in Alaska because he pissed me off. Sometimes a dude just has it comming to him.

Lodge owner was unimpressed.

For the people sending me PM's about my post, I was not speaking about Dan. I have never met the man.

My comment was simply that I talk to alot of people in the store that claim to hold one or both of these Oregon licenses. I was simply stating that many of them do not appear on the list. I found that interesting.
