Apparently to some the word southern means white. The southern states (& DC) have the largest black populations, so not sure where that meaning is coming from. Southern does not mean white!

In the south it is bible in one hand and rifle in the other, they hold both equally dear. You won’t take either unless you take their life. That is what I mean by morals, not in a religious way but that they have the fortitude to stand for what they believe & they know what they believe without 4 hour conversations arguing over punctuation. This is why the southerners (black & white) make up the largest percentage of our armed forces.

MLK was a southerner that is what I mean by morals & fortitude, gave his life for what he believed, born in Georgia, a Southerner, a preacher, a republican as are many blacks in the south.

Do I expect people to believe that the south is a better place for blacks than say the west coast? Well I don't expect anything. Personally would rather be one in two than one in a thousand or is it ten or a hundred thousand on the west coast.
