The U.S. could have killed bin Laden on at least two separate occasions using Predator UAVs equipped with missles, but the Pentagon and CIA were fighting over who got to control the Predators, so it didn't happen. When was the last time that a major party candidate for President or VP was the subject of an open legal investigation at the time of their nomination?
