Prediction for tonight:

1. Palin will say virtually nothing of substance about herself or McCain't.

2. She will steer every question into a comment about Obama, or at least Biden, and though most will be fact free, the RWWJ's will eat it up.

3. She, and the entire Right Wing Nation, will be holding their breath for Biden to say anything...anything at all...that can be misconstrued into any sort of "disrespect for a lady" possible.

4. She has a list of zingers just waiting for that perceived moment.

5. She'll get flustered, and use one of the zingers for no apparent reason whatsoever...it will be her form of how RWWJ's always invoke Clinton when they have nothing at all of substance to say.

6. At least once she will respond to a question like it was asked in a foreign language...or, like the Kouric interview, will just stare straight ahead like a deer in the headlights...this would be a good opportunity to throw out one of the pre-prepared zingers, or lacking that, blame it on Clinton.

7. People will wonder which drugs she is on, and if she got them from Rush.

8. RWWJ's will declare complete and utter victory!!

9. It won't matter one bit, as the electoral map is rapidly making it mathematically impossible for McSame/Failin' to get enough electoral votes to win the election.

I'm with KK on this purge of the RINO's and wannabe Repubs. Let's get back to the call for less Govt. and more personal responsibility.

But while we're at it, let's also purge the Dems that want to take us further into a country that is beholden to Govt. handouts and wealth redistribution.

I fear a Congress run by the likes of Pelosi and Reid. We have some serious economic problems that can only be rectified by sensible leaders and they don't cut the mustard.

Well it's hard to see how the GOP has any credibility on any sort of call for anything other than a gravedigger right now.
But given 40 years or so, they will once again return to haunt America.

And to think, the wingnuts were so sure Hillary was going to win........................ ...................and then it was Romney....................and then it was Thompson....................and before that Giuliani.

Right wing prognosticators on this site haven't been right for quite some time now, I mean i'm just sayin' here.............

If the GOP goes back to the 'Rockefeller Republicans' , the moderates of whom Olympia Snowe, Lincoln Chaffey, and Susan Collins are the only surviving members, they could win races again, hell they could have won this cycle.

But those moderate voices were silenced long ago, and the party was taken over not by the best and the brightest, but by idealogues for whom power was the only thing that mattered.

Can't blame that on the media either.

Palin got out of the starting gate slower than Biden...but after 60 minutes Sarah has Biden on the ropes for sure, and he's definitely showing his frustration. Every time Sarah goes to speak Joe sighs, it's starting to get real annoying.

Very close debate.....but Sarah won this one.

Biden's probably bored with the junior high level of responses from Palin.

Truthfully,
I think Biden is more comfortable in the political arena.
He spoke well and was convincing.
Palin seemed a little sheepish in some areas.
Both scored points on different issues, I just think Biden's experience showed.

Nothing happened to change the dynamic of the race, and on the substance, Palin was cleary a out of her league.

I wonder if anyone will notice she flat out didn't answer any question she didn't like ?

The recitation of the talking points she was reading off her cheat sheet got fairly boring after about 20 minutes or so.
