I've seen the numbers twice this morning...all the Palin faithful who were going to vote for McSame anyway thought she won, and have pledged to vote for them still.

All the Obama supporters wondered why she still has nothing of substance to say, and are still voting for Obama.

All of the undecided/independent voters are still undecided and independent...they liked her personality, but liked that Biden actually said something in his answers.

Net change of nothing, which is a win for Obama since everything is sliding his way anyway.

Fish on...

Todd

KK.....you might want to consider staying out of politics. The strain is obviously too much for you.

Why would I want to stay out of politics ?

It's every citizens responsibility to engage in the political process, that means more than just voting. It means more than paying attention every 4 years, it means staying involved. Writing your representatives, taking time to research issues, and learning to separate the wheat from the chaff.

While I liked your suggestion that you sent to me via PM (sorry I never responded) the others didn't think so highly of it..... grin

Watching the polls, looking the trend lines, and digging beneath the numbers in the crosstabs, what's not to like ? Senate and House look really good right now, maybe even 2 more Senate seats come into play by the middle of this month. Could be as many as 8, but I tend to more 'conservative' with my predictions, so I'll go 6 right now.

That makes what, 12 in two cycles ? Maybe more ?
If the voters were all fired up about Republicans, and feel they are best suited to address the pressing issues in America today, why are they voting them out of office every single chance they get ?
rofl
I'm just askin' here, in a rhetorical fashion of course.................

I post here for fun, and sometimes I even make serious posts.
I'll bet you can tell which is which...............

Some people only pay attention every four years or so, and then they want to make foolish statements not even remotely grounded in reality, so I rip 'em up for being wrong.

They are, of course, entitled to their own opinion, however they are not entitled to their own 'facts', even if they did hear it on Fox............. wink

Politics interests me very little. I have my preferences and realize that others have theirs, and that's pretty much Ok by me. I figure most folks learn the same way that I usually do.....by trial and error. It's the ones who continue to do the same things over and over again, expecting different results that worry me. smile
No one regards with respect your avid participation in the "process" more than I, and I admit that I haven't "played" here in a while, except for a drive-by comment or two on occasion, so I am not up to speed on the present status of your communication preferences, but that said, the "Palin/Stalin" poster seemed to me to be too far outside the truth for the KK....am I wrong? While the artwork is attention-grabbing, the message is not worth promoting. It seems to say to me more about the promoter than it does about the subject. And THAT seems out of character, to me. Why trade respect for a roll in the gutter? You f'kn NUTS? 2cents wink

With the first set of tracking polls out to incorporate at least one full day of post-debate interviewing, there is no indication that John McCain and Sarah Palin have made progress in closing their gap with Barack Obama. In fact, Obama ticked upward in three of the four national tracking polls that published today, although he lost a point in Rasmussen. In addition, Ipsos/McClatchy has come out with a poll showing that the debate moved undecideds slightly toward the Obama ticket, confirming the results of most of the snap polling conducted on Thursday evening.
