Randy Ratliff and the Rampage treated us right a while back on the Outdoor Lines Hali Trip and we rolled the dice and booked the whole boat for Monday the 13th.....too early...too rough? It could have been, but it was not.

A big smile to start the trip is always a good thing. always.

Gilly and Fshng1 looking very serious....with these two on the boat they don't stand a chance.

A short run compared to recent years, first drop was only 20 minutes out, Fshng1 snatched the first fish of the day, a small kinger that was released.

A bit farther out we got serious...

Grampa kicked the king ball to rolling with this decent one.

Decent action on the first drift withmebbe about 8 or 10 fish in the box and a good number of wild fish kicked back.

Piss flat water did not hurt anybodys feelings.....even B-run could have kept his breakfast down on this water.

My daughter with her 1st.

The second drift wound up about like the first, a few more fish in the box, not on fire....but there was enough to keep everyone working those lines...even KK got one, you can tell he handles less than a few of these.

Kraig and Worm getting their game faces on....

Salmo contemplating his next well thought out and informative post....or, that sandwich he's eating.

Summerrun anticipating..........hmmmm, "if I could only get one nice king"...hmmmm.

Ng1 with his best cold stone killer look.

The 3rd drift was where it was at....I crackered something off 2 seconds after my bait hit the water and the whole boat was just yelling fish on!

What's going on here..?

Summerrun...says "it's big" then starts doing laps around the boat....of course we all think he's just nursing it, captain is wondering if anyone has checked his drag and asks if he's ever caught a fish before...

on the 3rd lap around a 55ft boat the thing finally buckles and gets scooped.

...she's a beaut' clark.

If you check the leader board for teh WP fishing derby today, this baby is on top! 37 lb 9 oz...not bad!

Gilly tried to rally and get in the game with this fatty, but.....

It was WFO for about 2hrs and I was playing social director and handing out beers while the blood was flying...at some point a wise man said we should count these fish.....

We were done with fish for the crew in the mix...WFO it was!

I have more pics and BS, but.....I skipped work yesterday and gotta go.

Thanks to all that came out.

Just wanted to thank Stam for the invite to a great party and a fun filled fishing trip, even if most of us didn't get but 3-4 hours of sleep. It was great meeting all the guys and gals that I have comunicated with over the years on the board and have watched their posts with a daily addiction.

Stam and daughters did the show right, with sandwiches, snacks, beer and beverages premade for everyone on the boat. Heck they even brought them to you!

And thanks to Mark, who place we stayed and with the campfire songs that he sung to us that had us rolling in tears. And then there was the firecracker episode......Dave snuck up behind him while Mark was taking a leak and "Kabooom", pop crack. Mark had to dry himself of in front of the fire pit. Toooo funny.

I had the pleasure of fishing next to Matt (gilly), Dave ( D3smartie), Steve (Salmo) , and Neal M. All great fishin dudes in my book. And Summerun, you did us proud with that "pig" !

Steve

Thanks again Stam & Crew for putting together StamFest! thumbs

Was nice to finally meet D3 and can't thank him enough for that kick ass lapel pin fish and box.

The rest of the PP crew already know they are awesome and cool, so I don't need to say much there. We tore up the fish and had fun doing it, too!

I'm proud to say that I went 2 for 2 on rods yesterday. Busted up my TH 1264 so Stam let me borrow his most favorite rod in the whole wide world - his Sage 296. I promptly had an eye break off on me as I was gearing it up. frown Neal came to my rescue and said he'd have Sage put a new eye on it pronto. Phew. I think I owe Stam and Neal a 12-pack for that one!

PS. Check out Canyon Man's new title. Not only did he tear up on the halibut and walked away with a pile of cash and goodies, he did the same thing yesterday with the biggest coho and a tie for the most fish in the boat. The dude is definitely "The Ringer".
