Bleacher Report has the Niners as the #1 defense in the NFL..the Fawks, to their credit, are rated #6.

Good luck finding another defense who can line up and out-man this defense. You could find teams with better cornerbacks and maybe better safeties, but when evaluating the sum of all the parts, the 2012 San Francisco 49ers have the NFL's best defense. And that's indisputable."

It's going to be interesting watching the rookie Bobby Wagner lead the defense at MLB. The guy is fast and has long arms, I would imagine it's going to take him a while to pick things up.

It will be interesting to see which offense will perform better..Niners or Fawks.

Bear in mind, the Niner offense will be practicing against the #1 defense (as rated by Bleacher Report) and the Fawks offense will be practicing against the #6 defense.

I'll also be interested in seeing a comparison of the stats for the Niner MLBs and the Fawks MLBs at the end of the season. My money will be on Mr. Willis and Mr. Bowman. More money could be arranged for sack totals for the defenses...except for Welcher Duc of course.

When is Willis retiring?

Hank, don't forget our #1 pick pass rushing specialist, along with our new free agent Jason Jones and Chris Clemons...they're ears are going to be pinned and moving straight for your little sissy QB Alexis. Tis going to be fun.

He's 27 and still runs a 4.5 in the 40.

How long before he retires? Ray Lewis is 37 and I doubt he's thinking about hanging up his cleats yet. Barring injury, Mr. Willis should be around for awhile.

Let Ankles Okung and the rest of the Fawks OL know the Smith Bros are waiting for 'em. Whoever the Fawks have under center will be changing their shorts after every series.
