With that "West Coast" theory he is probably a "closet Liberal" too. . . .

Flip Flopper .. . . .
Saints 31 Fawks 13
Doesn't really matter though cause whoever wins will be heading to Chicago to get their asses handed to them in the cold and snow in the division where some of the real teams play .. . . . you know the ones with real history and a few Championships to boot. . .. ..
GO PACK IT ! ! !
No major flip-flop; my original prediction still stands. Faints 34 Fawks 19 I completely forgot west coast teams were devoid of real history and championships...thanks for reminding me.

Not many have history that goes back to the 20's. ... . . . . or even 40's . . . .
Edited by FishRanger (01/07/11 09:23 AM) Edit Reason: some do have Championships in there somewhere though .. . .

The Niners have been around since '46.
Fledglings compared to those historical teams from the '20s. Those include the Cardinals you know. Are they disqualified because the moved so much?

Yeah, pretty much. .. . .. . And I do recognize those upstart 9rs have had a couple of good years here and there and the fact they may become a dynasty some day. . . .. .
Edited by FishRanger (01/07/11 10:07 AM) Edit Reason: Easier to poke fun when my team is in the Playoffs ..

It appears the drinks are flowing early and often in the summerrun house hold .. . . . .. . The Pack can and will get it done on the road. . .

Prediction Time:
NOLA 24 Hawks 14.
Position wise the Hawks are better at RB, KR, PR, and P. Notice that their only talent advantage is in special teams. In-game coaching goes to Saints as well, which is where I give the Sainst the final advantage.
I can see the Hawks getting a win with 2 Brees turnovers (24 T.O.s in the last 14 games), and maybe with a big special teams play. I also see the Hawks being able to play a close game if they add a DB in lieu of a D-lineman. That will allow for a safety blitz. NO's good tight end is out, and so the safety blitz seems like a good option.
Hawks have all the intrinsic advantages in this game (Home crowd, nothing to lose, underdog, QBs last ride, etc). Unfortunately the talent gap is too big for all of that to work out.

Summerrunt will need to replenish the vodka supply due to all of the BMs being poured over there. I got my Saturday playoff picks right here: NEW ORLEANS -10, over Seattle. I can try to convince myself to grab all those points. The Saints aren’t as explosive as last year, Brees is throwin' picks like there's no tomorrow, starting RBs are out, it could get wet, windy and maybe even snowy in Seattle, bad for a Dome team, 12th man and yadda-nada. All I see is Hasselsux throwing multiple passes to players not wearing a Fawks uni and Breesy finding receivers running where no Seahawk defender can get to. Bush will have a good game too. This should be 34-19. Or worse. NY JETS +3.5, over Indianapolis. The Jets are built to win tight, grinding, road playoff games. They’re weird; they’re not as good defensively as they were last year but they run the ball, stop the run, have the best corners in the AFC and they get turnovers. I like ‘em outright, 20-13. BALTIMORE -3, over Kansas CIty. Not enough KC offense and what they have in the running game will be stopped. Baltimore 17-10. GREEN BAY +3, over Philadelphia. I think I’m gonna pick the winner of this game to get to the Super Bowl. Atlanta's a good team but I'm thinkin' the Pack is a better defensive team...probably the best defense in the NFC. If there’s a D that can get to Vick, (who hasn’t been that tough to get to lately) it’s the Pack. Aaron Rodgers is the better QB anyway and he's due to win a playoff game. Green Bay 28-24. There you have 'em and I'm surprisingly open to any arguments... Pack and Pats in the Stupor Bowl by the way...

I hope the Colts shut Rex's fat pie hole! Hank, Curry jersey in the mail. Ryan's a toe-sucker and maybe the Dolts can shut him up...but I don't think so. Curried jerseys or bobble-heads are not allowed in the Hankster house.
