Well, you got the Obamamath course aced so let's get started on eliminating all of the Bush tax cuts for everybody. Vote for the rep, sen or prez that will help to make that happen.

Some bad news and then some good news...
A local NBC affiliate in Richmond, Virginia reports that thieves stole a truck carrying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment that travels with President Obama, including his Teleprompters.
Officials recovered the truck on Monday.
Phew! Without that teleprompter, something like this might have happened on his current Magical Misery Tour.

Here you go Hank. I know Bush is your favorite president ever, so I thought I'd share some of his more famous moments so you can gargle his balls some more.
No matter what you say about Bush.......he is OLD News. It's hard to beat "57 States", IMO. Worrys me, as I think it should others, that when you add up the dumb things our president has said, that you haven't considered the possibility that he is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's Disease. Ever thought of that? Seriously.

On Wednesday afternoon, Obama stood at a lectern against a backdrop of firefighters and offered his prescription for solving the persistent jobs crisis: "A fair shot for everybody; a fair share from everybody. That's the principle that built America."The president got a polite reception from the 100 or so people crowded into the station garage.
Early in his speech he mentioned his American Jobs Act.
One or two people clapped.
"You can go ahead and clap," the president said. "Go ahead, nothing wrong with it."
Begging for approval. Pathetic.

No, pathetic is accidentally turning on your television to the GOP debates and then realizing that what you are watching is not some dopey Saturday Night Live skit but rather the very best of what the Republicans have to offer.

No, the House Republicans were busy with more pressing matters - like attaching a rider to an unrelated bill that would make it illegal for a woman to use the internet to consult with a doctor on health issues involving abortion.

Where have you been? House Republicans have passed several jobs bills. Dingy Harry won't bring them up for a Senate vote because they don't cost anything and they don't raise taxes on anyone.
Nice deflection though...
In the meantime and to get back to the theme of this thread:
Appearing on MSNBC this morning, Austan Goolsbee, former chair of the president’s Council of Economic Advisers, said “he wouldn’t have backed the ‘cash for clunkers’ program or the home buyer tax credit passed in 2009 to stave off further economic distress.” Why? “Given it’s taken this long to recover,” Dr. Goolsbee said, “I don’t think you would do that short-run stuff.” This revelation came just a day after President Obama insisted that “all the choices we’ve made have been the right ones.”

And, of coarse, those GOP Job bills (so-called) also don't create any actual jobs. We saw plenty of evidence of the Republican complete disregard and concern about the jobs issue during the six years they controlled the White House and both chambers of Congress during Dubya's reign of error.
Except for driving down wages and eliminating employee benefits and rights, truth is that Republicans don't give two hoots about jobs.
Hmmm, must have been out of the country and missed all that. How about for everyone's edification you post the House numbers of jobs bills that have been forwarded to the Senate and not placed on the calendar.

The other part of the "bad" news is every one of the current crop of republican candidates runs well behind Obama in recent polls. Yeah, Obama is mediocre and not much or an inspired leader but the R contenders are such a pathetic bunch of losers that we will be stuck with four more years of the big O coupled with a do nothing congress.

Just pick a handful of news outlets, not just FoxNews reporting on Rasmussen polls, and you'll see that except for there, Vedder's post is pretty much universally accepted as the truth.
Might not be what you want to hear, but it's clearly the truth.

It's kind of like the Congressional polls...no one approves of Congress, and almost everyone approves of "their" Congressman.
No one is happy with Obama, but the majority are even less happy with anyone the Repubs have managed to shake out of the bottom of their bucket so far.
