Too much reliance on the run; they need to open up the passing game more. Playing for field goals is okay against the Fawks but it won't win against better teams.

It's a "W" and it won't be the last. Certainly better than last year's team; they might even go 8-8...

Well, it was bad, but it wasn't all bad. Defense was solid (certainly good enough to win). When they picked up the tempo and opened things up a bit, the offense started to show signs of life. T-Jack actually looks pretty good when he doesn't have the entire d-line in his face before he can even finish dropping back (a luxury he has rarely enjoyed thus far in his career), and Baldwin looks like he might be a good pick-up.

Special teams (great for the 9-ers, not so for the 'Hawks) and stupid penalties were the deciding factors in this one.

I'd like to think that the Steelers will lay another egg on Sunday, but I'm among those who fear the worst.

The Stealers will stomp a mud hole in our arses.

Strategy question...
I didn't like Pete's decision to go for the 1 pt PAT when the score was 16/0.
The difference is that the score could have been tied in two scores with two 2-pt PAT's, but was cast aside in preference of hoping to score 3 times, while holding the niners scoreless. If either touchdown conversion (two pt) was successful, they would have ended up in the same spot as they did with the single point "gimmies".

Seems like loser mentality to me. Input?
