The water was about 74* but we landed 8 (5 him 3 me) nice-sized keepers none under 12" (that we all C-n-R'd b/c we didnt want to deal with messy fish on a hot day). Fished off the bottom using 2 lemon lime power eggs in 17-20 feet of water. Did better than anyone trolling. Actually trollers pulled up their gear and started bottom fishing our hole right in front of us. :angry: He moved on though after I almost hit him with my sinker on a good cast.
Later in the afternoon after an 18 pack of Coors Light we got tired of sitting there getting cooked so we stripped off our shirts and went overboard. Those little MinnKotas can almost get you up on plane when you hang onto a rope behind the boat.


Now Im all sunburnt and taking the day off.
