Blue Lake had some awesome action bars in the days I lived in Humboldt. Walt's Friendly Tavern and Mad River Rose were the ones with live music and willing women.

Next time you're in Arcata, head up from the square and hit Toby and Jack's on Pint Night. Plenty of available talent to be had...even for old-farts like me.
