stick a fork in the Colts, cuz they are DONE for a while... they just cut Dallas Clark, Melvin Bullit, Gary Brackett, and Joseph Addai... and Curtis Painter too, but hes a flop so it dont matter... i think we should reuinite Raheem Brock with Gary, and maybe compliment Carlson (if we even keep him, as he is a FA) with Clark... one things for sure, theres alot of big name players out in this FA session this year... some teams are gonna get some great pickups thats for sure... http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=2&cid=1166109&nid=5981514&fhn=1

The force is strong with Miami. Elway would like a real QB
Those friggin' Texans came so close. They had everything but a QB It might have been a Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl

Why would we get Clark to compliment Carlson (if we bring him back), when Zach Miller is the starting TE? Carlson was hurt all last year and Clark finds it hard to stay healthy.

The Rams will get the Redskins first round pick and 2nd rounder this year....plus the Redskins' first rounder in 2013 and 2014...talk about robbery. Just by moving down four spots in the first round, the Rams have picked up two additional first round picks and a 2nd rounder. This division has just become that much more competitive. The Rams can now surround Bradford with elite talent. The Rams can probably still get Justin Blackmon with the #6 pick this year....the player they want the most anyways. So they basically got two first round picks and a 2nd rounder for free....amazing.

Boy did the Redskins pay: 3 1st Round picks and a 2nd round pick. That is a steep price. Who says it doesn't pay to be crappy in the NFL. The Rams just benefited mightily. What am I missing here Dude ... why the hell would Washington do that? Where is the ROI?

All of those picks is a pretty high price to pay; Al Davis is laughing right about now. But....If a team makes the right decision for QB, they're set (barring injury) for 10 years. Griffin has all the tools to be a good one but he won't get a lot of help unless the Native Americans invest heavily in free-agents. The 'Skins have Grossman and Beck on the roster for QB. Any further questions?

A solid qb is good but there are plenty of other needs. To give away top 3 picks seems a bit risky to me.

Well they actually only gave up (2) 1st round picks and a 2d round pick since they swapped pics this year. So for a franchise QB I guess it would be the asking price. I think RG3 is a hell of an athlete but I am not sure he will be a franchise QB.

The Lambs are the team that made out on this deal and they'll be a force in the NFC Waste.
I thought the 'Phins had the inside track on Manning...he has a home there and his kids go to school there. They have a pretty strong upside with their D and good receiving corps. They have the #8 pick so they can get a good player in the draft to fill any holes they have. There must be something about them that isn't likable. Harbaugh and Fisher turned them down to be HC and there's talk Manning has the same idea about them. Must be the ownership.
What if the Dolts pick Griffin instead of Luck?

What if the Dolts pick Griffin instead of Luck? I still think Manning ends up in Miami. Others will shy from the risk, the fish need a qb and someone to get fans in seats. Griffin and Luck is a tough pick. Luck seems to be more a of true franchise qb to me. Griffin is just flat out a stud athlete.

Phins have an unproved head coach so not sure it is a good pick for someone who wants to win a SB in the next 2 years.

Agreed GV but that is also a good chance to establish a relationship as Peyton likes to do.
However Denver is where he is visiting today and they have been screaming they want him too.
Gonna get interesting.

Elway needs to talk Bowlen into spending a super-tanker full of money and getting Wayne and Clark on the roster. I still can't see Manning wanting to play 8 games at Mile High.

The heads are saying that the Denver visit is a courtesy. Peyton and John are friends.
As a fan of the game and wanting Peyton to do well, I'd like to see him sign on with the Texans. They would be an immediate threat to win it all. That strong defense would have his back for the rest of his career.

He just might sign with a Texas team. I heard T.O. is trying to talk him into slingin' the ball to him on the Wranglers. Don't think Peyton would want to join that dysfunctional family. There are better places to land.
