Manning will be a good mentor for Jake. Yep. The ultimate mentor.

Back on topic.... Houston Texans No building. Just go tear up the league immediately.
Maybe if I type it enough it will happen.
Then get ready for a Peyton vs. Eli Super Bowl. Wouldn't that be interesting ?
HOUSTON (AP)—Texans owner Bob McNair wants to re-sign outside linebacker Mario Williams and he’s not interested in pursuing Peyton Manning. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-texans-cuts

and i think you ment to say Tebow wont amount to sh!t as an NFL QB Tebow and Locker are both big QBs that can run. Both are terrible passers and can't hit the broadside of a barn from the inside. You don't think Tebow will pan out in the NFL but think Locker will? I couldn't wait for Locker to play his last game as a Husky.

It just gets curiouser and curiouser.. Manning worked out for San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and took a physical for the team this week, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. This does not necessarily make the 49ers a favorite for Manning. It could help explain why the 49ers have not quickly re-signed Alex Smith during the opening days of free agency, despite a longstanding pledge to bring him back for 2012 and beyond. The 49ers' involvement, rather than causing a delay with Smith, might also reflect the state of negotiations. It is possible Smith is asking for more money than the 49ers are offering, leading the team to explore options that could, in turn, bring Smith back to the table. Manning and Smith share the same agent, Tom Condon, further affecting dynamics. Smith presumably is not surprised by these developments, in other words. The 49ers are emerging publicly as a factor just as the Arizona Cardinals' chances for Manning appear to be diminishing. Arizona must decide by 4 p.m. ET whether to pay a $7 million bonus for incumbent quarterback Kevin Kolb. Failing to pay the bonus would make Kolb a free agent, leaving John Skelton and Rich Bartel as their only quarterbacks under contract. The 49ers, unlike the Cardinals, face the looming deadline with Smith. But it's now a fact that Manning is affecting three offseasons within the NFC West. Seattle reached out with strong interest, only to have Manning show no reciprocal interest. Arizona secured a meeting with Manning, only to spend this week waiting for a response. Now, the 49ers are in the mix. Fun, fun stuff. More to come.

Nah, lookin' like TN. At the start I thought TN would be the place for the champion to return to and ride off into the sunset from there.
Vegas still like Denver, though.

Remember the 08 season. Thats what locker had to follow. Besides lockers last season with polk who else did locker have. Locker can throw combine showed that. There wasnt any debate like tebows side arm throwing technique. Only thing tebow has is his disire to win which i think locker has. Id take locker and flynn over tebow as a seahawk.

PHOENIX -- Out of the race to nab Peyton Manning, the Arizona Cardinals are moving on with quarterback Kevin Kolb.

Source: QB Alex Smith visiting Miami Updated: March 18, 2012, 11:08 AM ET ESPN.com news services
With the San Francisco 49ers jumping into the race for Peyton Manning's services, free-agent quarterback Alex Smith is making a play of his own.
2011 STATS
Att445 Comp273 Yds3144 TD17 Int5 Rat90.7
Smith is flying to Miami to visit Sunday with the Dolphins, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The 49ers have been working to re-sign Smith, the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2005 who made a comeback in 2011 under first-year coach and former NFL QB Jim Harbaugh, and Smith has acknowledged he was happy with their three-year offer.
But that was before the 49ers worked out Manning and put him through a physical exam early last week.
Manning and Smith both are represented by agent Tom Condon and CAA Sports. The San Francisco Chronicle, citing a league source, is reporting that Smith is considering changing agents because of a possible conflict of interest.

Neither 49ers running back Frank Gore nor tight end Vernon Davis had been told by the 49ers they were pursuing Manning. Both are big fans of Smith. Asked if Smith is still the man for San Francisco, Gore said, "I think he is."
If Smith were to sign with the Dolphins, he would be reunited with former high school teammate Reggie Bush. Smith and Bush were teammates at Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, Calif.
Smith's visit in Miami comes a day after Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn met with the Dolphins and former offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, now the Dolphins' coach, in South Florida.
Smith orchestrated five comeback wins for the 49ers during the regular season -- four of those on the road -- and another in a thrilling 36-32 victory against the Saints in the playoffs.
He threw just five interceptions last season and thrived under Harbaugh after previously struggling to live up to his lofty draft status.
The 27-year-old made $4.9 million in base salary in 2011 and earned a $1 million bonus for reaching the playoffs.

A head this AM put up the following and I agree.....
Order for best chance for another ring : San Francisco Denver Tennessee
Order for best fit : Tennessee Denver San Francisco
I still think TN has the inside track.

He seems to be spending the most time at Tennessee. If he could get a ring wearing a Titans uniform...... that would be one helluva way to ride off into the sunset. Like one of the heads said, Peyton doesn't want to be at Thanksgiving dinner and have Eli hand him the dressing flashing those two rings.

You have to admire Peyton to go to a lesser team than some of the other better teams. Where is Tebow going? Anyone wan't him?
