Hank is fair and balanced.
Remember when he was posting every day about the billions squandered and missing in Iraq when his crew was running the show?
No ?
Neither does anyone else.
Hank has an impression of the GOP's nut sack right in the middle of his chin.

It seems to me though, that we get anecdotal about "efficiency" a lot. My point here is that it's EASY to find things that are in-efficient. The larger the scale of any project, the easier it is to find this stuff. This is just life.
The interesting thing to me is how poor people are at seeing the relative scales of things. If you're trying to optimize a $100B system, then you need to start by looking at the TOP HALF of your expenditures. If you are trying to optimize a $1M system, the same rule holds.
Which is why if you're looking at a big problem (=Fed deficit) you have to start with the huge expenditures (=health care & defense)... You can noodle around with foreign aid and public radio, but it's not worth your time. The areas you're ignoring (=health care and defense) are growing FASTER than the savings you're finding in the small stuff.
So it doesn't surprise me at all that there's some fraud in the stimulus, or in our military budget or in foreign aid or in funding of alt. energy. Finding examples of the fraud will get people outraged (faux or otherwise) but it's distracting from the place where we should be focused--on the big items, and how we're going to deal with them.
Which brings me to my frustration -- unless we're willing to DENY care to the uninsured (a moral quandary for sure) -- or to have some comprehensive system (mandate, single payer, take your pick) AND to have clear management of coverage (aka "Death Panels") -- we aren't solving the REAL problem. All these other "gotcha!!!" posts about some dude who porked up on the fed is just whistling in the wind.

Hank has an impression of the GOP's nut sack right in the middle of his chin. You must have misread all of my posts that were unfavorable on the war in general.

Why?
You looking for a sack for your chin, too?

Yeah, Hank.........I must have missed those two posts where you were all anti-war and stuff.
I usually only have to tell most people something once and they get it. In your case, I had to do it twice...and you still didn't get it.

I like how the Big-O is telling all of his base the GOP is fighting a war on women. Then he gives $1.5 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt whose goal it is to establish Sharia Law there.

So, what else has the Big-O and his minions been up to recently? Seems the poster-boy for narcissism and Hoopster-In-Chief has put his image on the White House basketballs.. Next he, without congressional approval (they're just an impediment to his vision), has diverted $500 million to the IRS to enforce ObamaCare. That's a little cheeky of him, what with the absence of a SCOTUS ruling and all. Obama administration diverts $500M to IRS Not to be outdone, A.G. "Fast-n-Furious" Holder has some 'splainin' to do about voter I.D. after someone got his ballot at his polling place... Voter Fraud Investigation Lands On Eric Holder's Doorstep Looks like it's gonna be a busy week in D.C.

Does anybody remember these? Ads for Obama Campaign: 'It's In the Game' There's an amusing followup to that company.. EA voted “Worst Company in America” of 2012 Ouch. Electronic Arts, maker of The Sims, Mass Effect, Madden NFL, among other games, won the title of “Worst Company in America” in a recent online bout that also included Google, Apple, Facebook and PayPal.

I do, RantyM. The question I would ask is, why is it the ills of the country can be blamed on the sitting president when a Republican is in office (regardless where the blame lies), but that changes when the other party is running the show?
What's surprising to me is the Big-O hasn't blamed Bush (yet) for the cuts to military retiree medical benefits.

Seems the Obama's effective tax rate is 20.5%...is that less than his secretary paid? Just wondering. Poor dear only made $789,674 last year. My guess is they couldn't find any new unions to buy his books so sales have slowed down some.

Taxpayers to make money on TARP http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/20...asury-says?liteThe U.S. Treasury Department said on Friday that the many programs that it, the Federal Reserve and banking authorities implemented during the darkest hours of the 2007-2009 financial crisis likely will end up making a profit for taxpayers. I'm sure this will taste pretty good, just like crow! Fishy
