My bet would be you know nothing about x-ray exposure. I'd win. Do you even understand english? I said may not be the only thing that clouds your judgement. Move away from the x-ray machine....... I understand 'English' should be capitalized. What clouds your judgement most is the lack of same. Move away from Rachel...she's far more hazardous to mental health than any x-ray.

By any measurable standard, it hasn't been the best of months for the Big-O.
First came the May jobs report with a whopping 69,000 new-hires. To compound that bad news, the unemployment rate went from 8.1 to 8.2%.
Oops.
Following close on the heels of that came the Wisconsin recall that he was too busy doing presidential fundraising things to work on. He did say he'd be putting on his comfy shoes to march with protesters who were losing their rights, but you know how that goes..money trumps workers' rights. It didn't matter he wasn't there anyway, because the same exit polls that said it was a 50-50 race, also said he'll win Wisconsin in the general. Recent polls put Romney up by 3.
Oops.
Not to be outdone, along comes the intelligence leaks that weren't leaked to make him appear tough. Not to worry though; rather than having an independent investigator, Holder appointed two sleuths to dig into the case. One is a Bush appointee and the other (surprise, surprise), worked on and donated to Obama's campaigns. Color us relieved there won't be a whiff of anything but the most thorough investigation.
Oops.
Then we have Holder himself. What a Bozo. 'Nuff said.
Oops.
To finalize things, the Big-O holds a presser and says the private sector is "fine". A few hours later he flip-flops and says the private sector is anything but "fine". Hold onto your hats though; according to him, the private sector isn't "fine" because governors haven't been doing their duty of hiring more folks in the public sector. He basically said, "Yo! Remember back in '09 when we dumped a ton of bucks on the states to keep public sector workers employed? Well, the states ran out of that money and we have to prime the pump again."
Oops.
Does anyone besides me get the sense the wheels are falling off the Obamabus?

Hank,
Where'd you ever get the idea there were any wheels on the Obama bus? Actually, it's more of a "what bus?" question. It seems like it took you no time at all to forget that the number one reason Obama won in 08 was cuz he's "not Bush," given that McCain was Bush re-incarnated according to his campaign statements. Obama still has a good chance of winning in 2012, not because of his many accomplishments, which ain't looking too good as you point out 3 or 4 times a day, but because he still won't be Bush, or whatever version of Bush the GOP runs in Nov.
What's this country coming to when it won't elect a Republican president because people fear he will reduce Constitutional freedom, abdicate the interests of the majority of Americans for his "have more" friends, start expensive unjustified and undeclared wars, and trash the economy worse than a Democrat? It ain't pretty.

The fastest way to get a Rep elected to the WH is to elect a Dem and same goes the other way.

Sg Salmo, You've been bereft of the 3 to 4 posts per day of those non-accomplishments lately, so I'll throw out a couple more bad ju-ju things poor O had to contend with this month. No sooner does he start hammering Mittens on Bain and vulture capitalists, Booker and others defend Bain and others of that ilk. Golllleeee gee-wiz. O takes him to the woodshed and there's a mumbled apology. If that wasn't bad enough (and it was pretty bad), Billy-Bob says Romney had a "sterling" business record, he's qualified to be prez and the Bush tax cuts for the "rich" should be extended. Yikes. Many new O gray hairs and another woodshed trip later, Billy-Bob utters an apology. Oops. Then the Big-O says (and he says it with a straight face) he's the most miserly prez since FDR or Johnson or somebody. Snickers and loud guffaws could be heard nationwide over that bit of new-math accounting. Oops. Just to sweeten the pot, he's lost the support of 1-in-5 N.Carolina blacks. They might still vote for him..or they might just sit home on election day. In a state he won by only 14,000 votes, that could be a deal-breaker. Oops. Soooo, you think a reduction of constitutional freedom is a peril if a Rethuglikkkan is elected? That's a laugher considering the Big-O is trampling on constitutionally guaranteed religious liberty in the name of the woman vote. Aren't we awaiting a decision from SCOTUS on the constitutionality of his crowning achievement? Weren't the 26 states arguing that was unconstitutional? His defense for the rights of public (union) workers doesn't abdicate the interests of the majority of Americans? After all, to make something "fair" for a relatively small group of people will inherently make it "unfair" for a larger group. That's the larger group that has to pay taxes to support the retirement of three workers at the same time they're paying for one worker. Not exactly sustainable, as so many municipalities and states are beginning to figure out. Part of the rehashed and reset vision of the future America that O laid out today was to increase the number of those public workers. I think the voters are starting to see through that. It's going to be an interesting election, but I don't think I'm going to bet any more money on the Big-O pulling it out.

Take heart, Dems..there's actually good news for you today. In a National Geographic poll, nearly 65% of the people polled think the Big- O would be better suited than Mitt Romney to handle an alien invasion from outer space. Looks like four more years to me.

Once again, your demonstrated lack of any sense of humor disappoints. Try to move out of your glum and sulky little world..it will do you some good.

Two-thirds of likely voters say the weak economy is Washington’s fault, and more blame President Obama than anybody else, according to a new poll for The Hill. It found that 66 percent believe paltry job growth and slow economic recovery is the result of bad policy. Thirty-four percent say Obama is the most to blame, followed by 23 percent who say Congress is the culprit. Twenty percent point the finger at Wall Street, and 18 percent cite former President George W. Bush. The poll, conducted for The Hill by Pulse Opinion Research, found 53 percent of voters say Obama has taken the wrong actions and has slowed the economy down. Forty-two percent said he has taken the right actions to revive the economy, while six percent said they were not sure.

USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. Mitt Romney is preferred over President Obama on the economy, despite attacks on his record at Bain Capital, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney's background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation's economic problems over the next four years. Romney preferred over Obama to handle the economy

At least for grains and vegetables, transportation and processing costs are by far the biggest part of the overall price...so when gas is high, food is high. You're likely to see beef prices drop drastically over the next couple of months, too, as the drought raises the cost of feed dramatically, and pasturelands become less productive...a LOT of beef is about to hit the market. Stock up on steaks before the end of the year Fish on... Todd

Democratic Voting Enthusiasm Down Sharply From 2004, 2008 July 25, 2012 Democratic Voting Enthusiasm Down Sharply From 2004, 2008 Republicans more enthusiastic than in 2008 PRINCETON, NJ -- Democrats are significantly less likely now (39%) than they were in the summers of 2004 and 2008 to say they are "more enthusiastic about voting than usual" in the coming presidential election. Republicans are more enthusiastic now than in 2008, and the same as in 2004.
