I do want to upgrade my sunglasses. I want to get lenses to cover the different lighting during the day. What I use currently are too dark for overcast and morning. They are also worn out a bit. Check out something with photochromic/photochromatic lenses. I really like the Tifosi Dolomites as fishing glasses. I think Doc had a pair that he recommended as well. If you're looking for an "all purpose" lens, I would recommend copper. Sometimes mine are not quite dark enough in very bright sunlight, but for overcast or low light they are great. I had Smith's which are photochromic but then got some Costa's with the 580 glass lenses and I will say that even though they are not photochromic, the quality of the lens is superior.

Saw a report yesterday that they are gaining about 1/2 mile a day. Should be there within a week.
Google Situk reports. It was in one of the hits that came up from that search.

THe fly shop blog says DOT says should be done by the end of the weekend. That includes the turn around and parking at 9 mile bridge.

Here is a pic of a Glacier Bear from our trip. I will post a few more pics later. We didn't catch much.

We did have a good time the lodge is nice and people are friendly. We had trouble with the steelhead but it sounds like we weren't the only ones by a long shot. There were people catchin fish though. I did meet CraigO the night before his last day. I am waiting for his report.

I've never been to the Situk, but every pic I've ever seen of that river reminds me of the steelhead rivers I used to fish back in Michigan - a small, slow meandering river, lots of woody debris, and snow everywhere. And lots of steelhead.
But the Situk doesn't have hatchery steelhead and Michigan doesn't have grizzly bears....
