I'll keep laughing at that 7-9 playoff team too. If doctater had any self-respect as a football fan, he'd question a 7-9 team that tied with the Rams for that same record (1 game ahead of the 6-10 dismal Niners) too. Don't forget, the NFC Waste was a collective 29-35 that year. Seems the Niners split the season with the Fawks in '10...40-21 at the Stick for the final meeting if I recall.

The question you should ask is, what did the Fawks do the next year? The answer is they re-Petey-Rah-Rah'ed that 7-9 record.

What did the Niners do? Why, they picked up 7 games and went 13-3.

Now about those draft picks; the only year the Niners got the #1 pick was '05 and we got Alex. In 6 of those 10 years you mentioned, the Fawks picked ahead of the Niners. Sherman was a good pick; the jury is still out on Ankles Okung; you do remember Curry, don't you?

Niners sweep the Fawks this year and win the division by a landslide. Book it.

Ankles Okung will be the best injured LT for years to come, is what you mean. If he makes it to game 6 before he starts the annual bench ride, J. Smith will put him on a cart heading to the locker room.

It hasn't sunken into your heads that the Fawks miraculously made it into the playoffs with a laughable 7-9 record. Then, not to be outdone, they came back last year and somehow thought an additional 7-9 record would get them there again, so they duplicated that dubious feat. The "ONE good year" the Niners had (and that's a joke in itself) came on the heels of a 6-10 season.

The Niner D that will make them a .500 team ( ) only has 2 players that are over 30. Funny thing about that is, both of them were All-Pro last year. Willis missed the last game against the Fawks and his replacement was the one with the sack-strip of T-Joke. The Niners are right at #24 in overall team age...the Fawks are #28.

It's gonna be fun watching you knuckleheads snivelin' and whinin' when SkittlesMode cashes in his payday and half-steps it through the season.

I'm a transplant to WA so I'm not disillusioned on the potential of this squad.

I knew pete was on crack when he brought in Jackson. Anyone that watches football knows he's not a starter. Think back to the Vikings. Jackson was the 2nd string QB. Who playyed when Farve went down??? Yep their third string QB.

Since the personnel Mikey brought in aged and left, the franchise isn't going to do much..
