I too am using the Sony FD-73 and the Sony 64x steady shot video camera... I broke down and bought a goretex camera bag from a photo shop for about $70, it carries both video/digital cameras. I also have a rubbermaid tub that I carry in my boats, the camera bag always stays in it unit we are ready to shoot... the Rubbermaid tub was $7 and is the best dry box out there. I also have a smaller one for al lof my tackle boxes and leader rolls etc. Quick note.. I bought the tub that locks down from the top, with an overlapping lid, it is really light and stays dry.

As far as gloves, I like the seal skins from cabelas... pretty light and easy to row in, but hard to fish with.
