I know what your feeling. The very first rod that I ever built was a loomis IM6 1025. Great rod loved it...Loaned it to a friend that was in need and it came back in three pieces. Loomis discountinued that line awhile ago, they will replace it with a GL3.Which is a really nice rod. As far as getting a new tip section I have no clue as where to look. Remember if that tip section dosnt marry to the butt section you will loose some vibration transfer. Loomis custom fits all there tip and butt sections, thats why when you break one you have to send them the entire rod. If you have any questions please e-mail me.
