I'd also like to see WDFW reduce the limit on cutthroat in Lake WA from 5 down to 2.
I get pissed off every time I read someone blaming the cutthroat for the lack of sockeye returns or eating too many fry.
Great, lets blame a native trout for eating too many hatchery sockeye fry.
What are they supposed to do when they release millions of fry, not eat them?

I'd rather see the state protect native trout that are surviving in a large urban setting then worry about a sockeye run that likely won't ever produce any future sportfishing opportunities.
