Haven't fished the Suez but was working up at the hatchery last week, saw a few fish rolling but none caught. Hatchery guys said they only had about 30 steelhead to spawn so far so waiting on rain. Had a classic encounter though! Got done with my job at dark and went into the NEW hatchery building that covers the adult holding ponds and here there is a native fishing with a rod and reel in the adult tank! No joke and he didn't even act like he'd been caught doing any thing wrong just said he hadn't caught any thing in the river so thought he'd try in here. Watched him cast too far and wrap his spinner around the hand rail across from him and that was enough and left!Only on the rez
