Since Hank isn't here (thank gawd) to defend his beloved 49'ers, I'll have to do it for him.

A flash in the pan huh? They have the best defense in the league, hands down. And good defenses don't collapse, it's a mindset...plus coaching and personnel, and SF has all of that.

As much as I love the Hawks and don't like SF (hate is such a strong word), at this point they have a much better chance of making the Super Bowl than the Hawks. We'll be lucky to get one game from them...
