1 cup borax to 1/2 teaspoon of non-iodized salt to cure Chinook eggs after they dry out in the fridge for a day on cardboard. Need to butterfly open after 12 hours. Then sprinkle the cure. I have some dynamite eggs in the freezer from this fall and a couple boxes a couple of years old. Will last up to 5 years if not too dry or dark.
Watched this summerun chew and spit out my eggs last summer. Finally caught the fish after a few casts.
