Actually, there are a lot of BM at Purdy.. I usually start East of the bridge on the North side (under the wires) and will end upon the rip rap to the West. Every one of the keeper BM have been caught have been on the flood West of the bridge (towards the creek). Believe it or not, I have landed a few Steelies headed for Burley Creek too.

I prefer a type 6 shooting head on a 5wt and a small Angel Hair Clouser or a small tube...
If I am shooting for SRCs, I switch over over a to Muddler and drag the bottom. There are a ton of Sculpins down there...
