Headshakes-
There are many differnt ways to do it and this is one of the best as described and diagramed by a good freind of mine.

Juro\'s Original Loop System

I, on the other hand, use mono loops. I form a small loop into 30 or 50 pound braided mono (30 for sinking lines, 50 for floating) with a splicing needle or bobbin threader and then inch the flyline up the braided mono until it butts up against the loops (4-6" or so).

I then place 3 nail knots with 12# mono over the loop at equal distances from one another and then coat with Aquaseal or Softex. This is a very secure system that is easy to do and provides positive turnover.
