If you want to try some fly fishing in a quality river, then make the drive to Ellensburg. The Yakima River is considered to be a blue ribbon, fly fishing only fishery. You should contact the guys at the evening hatch guide service/ fly shop for information on current river conditions. They offer guided trips that I have not had the opportunity to take yet, but I plan to soon.
