Todd,

Your analogy is a pretty terrible analogy. “Libertarians Centrists” hold positions on issues and don’t always favor compromise. A more accurate analogy is like this:

Neo-Right Wings: We need to go to War in the Middle East... we need trillions to keep Murica safe from turrists. Pu$$y libruhls need to fork out the dough.
Neo-Left Wings: How dare you want to go to war in the Middle East. We want to go to war/aid in <insert random country> or “We want to give away free [Bleeeeep!]”
Libertarians: We don’t want to go to war unless it’s declared and necessary... and fvck off with the idea of government taking my money to give away free schit.

Then what happens is compromise. The left gets what they want as does the right. You want your bill passed, we want ours passed. We all win! When there is real tension, Dems block R’s bill, then R’s block Dem’s bill, etc. Americans are such shallow thinkers and think they have to pick D or R then parrot the pathetic talking points of each side without thinking for themselves. Truth be told R’s and D’s are all the fuckin’ same at this point and want to spend money or push their own agendas. Americans lose.

Both sides want spending for what they want while ignorant well intentioned socialists eagerly fork over their dough to corrupt bureaucrats who either piss it away or line their own pockets.
But you can pretend to feel good about yourself and continue to live naively hiding behind democratic socialism like it’s such a beautiful thing and believe you are making the world a fair and equitable place. The string pullers and shepherds on the left love you. Keep pretending they actually have your best interests at stake and that they are looking out for you. You’re more of a sheep to the left than Rich Gee is to the delusional thinking and voices in his head.
