Fisrst experience at Novemeber fishing on the Yakima. Expectations were low, but the fish were still eager to the fly. Water temperatures ranging 45-48 degrees. Mike at Teds Sports recomended the river was still on--and it was. Days were short lived but the bite was on from noon till 3:00. A Few shy of 18" were enticed to black bugger, and found a willing pod of risers looking for "blue winged olives".
Camped in the Canyon without a fellow camper in sight. Darkness fell at 5-ish followed by a brisk campfire to ease the chill.
