The problem with the R's & D's is they cater to the edges (extremes) in order to get enough votes to get/remain in power and then beat each other over the heads with the politics of each others' extremes. This leaves them so pissed at each other they then will not work together to serve the needs of most of us reasonable people somewhere in the middle. This leaves many of us choosing the lesser of two evils while holding our noses and others following them out to the edges of the left and right.

At what point will they both leave enough of us disenfranchised for there to be room for a third party that can represent the majority in the middle. Where's the party and the leader most of us can get excited about supporting based on common ground and common needs of the people. I'd personally love to see the R's & D's booted to the extremes they've both courted and a majority party rise up between them.
