Today I spent the day on the upper Skagit, I watched the River rise so fast, I was thinking of leaving the upper river area. So I did a little looking around, watch one gravel bar disappear in front of my eyes in one hour! The river most of came up ONE foot (vertical) in that time!

Went up to Butt Creek on the Suiattle that was some site to see, water ever where. All the tribs where pushing MUD from Woolley to Marblemount on the Skagit and the Sauk from the mouth to the Suiattle.

I’m hoping this will clean a little of the slit out of the Sauk; it is running fast right now!
