None of this is new info.

People occasionally are registered in more than one location if they moved and didn't correctly notify the county they left to remove them from the list.

This doesn't mean people vote more than once, they typically discard the invalid ballot.

Studies have been done to determine how many people do try to vote twice and the number is extremely low. And due to current cross checking methods they are detected and prosecuted.

So while the number of registered voters in a county could be higher than the current population, it doesn't make for a huge conspiracy that cheated your highly qualified hero out of a job.

It does make for a great and misleading headline for the low IQ conspiracy crowd though.
