Watching the House re-pass the Covid-relief bill, but upping the payouts to individuals to $2000, and re-pass the Defense Authorization Bill, that the President vetoed.

Both were overwhelmingly supported by Republicans and Democrats.

So...Trump said he'd veto the relief bill if it wasn't revised up to $2000, but then went ahead and signed it anyway.

Now, if the Senate votes on the relief bill on party lines (though most Republicans just voted for it in the House), it will put the two Georgia Senators in a position to either back McConnell, or put more funds in the hands of the voters who are about even odds on whether or not those two stay in the Senate.

The President totally fukked the GOP on this with his stupid antics over the weekend.

For the spending bill, the House is easily going to override the veto, it will be a closer thing in the Senate, and may come down to those same two Senators that he just fukked over.

I hope the GOP is happy with their choice of a reality TV show con man these days. Things seem to be going so well.

Fish on...

Todd
