The Q stuff reminds me of of an interview of a player in the Nigerian Prince money scam.

The interviewer asked why the emails were so full of spelling and punctuation mistakes, plus the scenario didn't sound plausible as explained in the email.... Why were they so poorly done, wouldn't they be able to trick more people with a better thought out plan.

The scammer said they only wanted lower IQ people to respond, anybody that showed interest in the poorly done email wasn't as likely to back out of the scam.

No need to waste your time on smarter people that would soon identify it as a scam if you presented a somewhat plausible offer upfront.

So it's just like Q, if people fall for the ridiculous "facts" first presented, they're likely not smart enough to figure out they've been had any time in the near future.

Trump followed the same plan.
