I just picked up a brand new Loop Midge reel (0-2wt + 25yds. backing, 2.7 oz.) for less than 25% of the msrp. My delima is should I cut down a 4wt wf-floating line and use gel-spun backing, make a "shooting head" type line for it, or should I just trade it to someone for a similar value reel that is a tad bigger???

My rod that this will be used on is a Sage XP 490-4 that I just finished building. I really like the size and weight of this reel, Loop's next size up has only one differance, an increased spool width (approx. .250") with a minimal increase in weight (< 1/4 oz.).

help me out here boys, I really did not think I'd get the reel for $100 let alone for under $100. sometimes things are just to good to pass up, don't 'cha think?? what
