In Portland there's a BBQ Pit called Podnah's
They serve authentic Texas brisket.

One thing that's fun to do on the smoker is Tri Tip Brisket Style.
Comes out fork tender if you do you part. (5-ish hours)
The rub is C&C Rub.
Homemade with finely ground Espresso coffee beans, powdered baker's chocolate, salt and pepper
Makes a great bark.
