Hit the canal this morning chasing sea runs. A beautiful morning turned a little nasty around 11 but we had already had plenty of fun by then.
Lots and lots of fish chasing bait. Mainly cuts, but we also got a few small silvers and saw several bigger one jump. The big Cutt of the day was a nice fat 17 incher. Most of the fish were caught on either olive/white clousers or epoxy baitfish patterns. They did not seem to be interested in anything with color today for some reason. I fished mine with pee-wee pops on the front and had lots of surface action.
Too bad i leave for Atlantic salmon fishing tomorrow or i would be back chasing these guys all week.
