Switch right wing, to extreme right wing rhetoric or even white supremacy, and I think you are right. In fact, I would argue they play off each other, blaming one another for any problem they have. Extreme liberals blame whites, capitalism, and racism for every social ill. White supremacists blame minorities and liberal policies.
