I think it is going to definitely change college sports and really divide the have and have not schools.....and players. The money will create some jealousies and I think you’ll see the transfer portal be even more active as guys not only look for more playing time but more earning potential.

I think they need to modify or do away with the transfer portal, having everyone go to the highest bidder at the beginning of their college career is one thing, having everyone up for sale every year would be really tough on most schools.

I think it will be fine for most big schools, there are millions of dollars in the Tyee Club that would love to end up in the pockets of big time college football players, and that's going to be true for a lot of schools; but it's not going to be true for 70% of the schools that don't have that kind of financial backing.

I also wonder about how some positions will feel regarding what other players are earning.
Say for instance Spencer Rattler from Oklahoma is pulling in big $$$$ while his o-line is making little, yet they are responsible for much of his success. That obviously happens in the pros but now it will be in the college game as well.
I really think the NCAA could have avoided this, but they were slow to respond or not willing to change and got their asses handed to them.
I also think some companies will end up regretting their relationships if the performance on the field of the player is lacking.
