It's called "horse shoe" theory and it's a real thing. The ends are much closer to each other than they are to the middle. It's an apt representation of modern day America IMO.


Absolutely. The extremes become more similar the more extreme they become. The roads are long from where they depart but the longer they go the closer they come back together.
