A little known fact is that Jim Jones did not use Kool-Aid as it was not available in Guyana. He used Flavor-Aid. In school I did a report on Jonestown and I got in trouble for it. As part of my presentation I handed out Flavor-Aid packets mixed with potassium cyanide to the class and if you actually drank it, it would actually kill you. I used the grape flavor.
