I know this has been said before but it is worth mentioning it again. I just sent my Calcutta back to Shimano for a new line guide piece. I sent it back to Shimano rather then Johns in Everett because I do not like their service or their price. It cost me $3.50 USPS wich included 2-3 day express and a $300 insurance. In return I get a call back from shimano saying that they just replaced the whole reel with a new one and I should have it back within a few days. By the way this reel is little over a year old so that it does not have to be covered by shimano to fix it for free under there warrenty. Great service and great reels. Since I just ordered a Eon from Tackle Direct I will have a new Calcutta that I wont have to use. If you have had problems with other service people it is worth sending it out to Shimano and let them replace it or fix it , since they make it.
