I live over on the East side of the mountains (tri-nuke cities)and all we get is frozen shrimp/prawns or dead chartruese tails in a styrafoam tub or plate. I had the pleasure of coming over for X-Mas and fished the Upper Skagit. We went into the local Texaco station at Rockport and purchase some "Live" shrimp. Did'nt have much luck but was impressed with the "live" shrimp. I double looped the shrimp and did'nt lose a one. We even stopped by the station again and picked up another tub for the kids to look at. Needless to say the kids were amazed at seeing "live" shrimp.
I gotta believe that "Live" is a better bait than dead or frozen.
I just wish we could get some "Live" shrimp over here. I think the market would call for it. Any thoughts?
